Farewell Chicago @ Joel Kitching’s Photoblog

July 28, 2008

This summer I visited Chicago to see a bunch of people I met on the internet. It sounds shifty, I know, but luckily they all turned out to be perfectly normal, and extremely kind people. I ended up doing a bunch of touristy Chicago sight-seeing too, and made a nice vacation out of the trip.

Pictured above is the Buckingham Fountain in all its watery glory. Note that though this photograph actually is perfectly aligned horizontally, it just doesn't quite seem so because of the trees. But I didn't want to Photoshop trees, because trees are our friends.

My explanation was "OMG WTF BBQ!" I hope you also enjoyed your first trip on LSD.
